1. Who we are
JobsAI provides AI powered hiring software through two products: JobsAI.Work for job seekers and JobsAI Enterprise for employers and recruiting teams. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to both products and to this website.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you give us, information generated as you use the products, and information from services you connect.
Account information. Name, email address, password credentials, billing details and the plan you are on.
Career information. Resumes, cover letters, work history, education, skills, target roles, salary expectations, location preferences and documents you upload.
Application activity. Jobs matched, applications submitted on your behalf, employer responses, interview stages and status updates.
Interview content. Written practice answers, and where you use voice or on camera features, audio and video recordings, transcripts and generated scoring.
Employer and candidate records. For JobsAI Enterprise customers, the job orders, candidate profiles, notes, pipeline stages and outreach history entered into the platform.
Connected accounts. Where you link a third party service such as an email provider, calendar, professional network or applicant tracking system, the data that service shares with us under the permissions you grant.
Technical and usage data. Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, features used, and cookie identifiers.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to operate the products you have asked us to run on your behalf: matching you to roles, tailoring and scoring documents, submitting applications, generating interview practice and feedback, and for employers, parsing resumes, scoring candidate fit and running screening and interview workflows.
We also use it to provide support, process payments, secure the service and prevent abuse, communicate with you about your account, meet legal obligations, and improve the products. Where we use aggregated or de-identified data for analysis and product improvement, it no longer identifies you.
4. AI processing
JobsAI uses artificial intelligence, including third party model providers, to analyse resumes and job descriptions, generate documents, score candidate fit and conduct AI interviews. Content you submit may be sent to those providers to produce a result for you, under contracts that restrict their use of it.
AI outputs are decision support, not decisions. Scores, rankings and summaries are intended to inform human judgement, and employers using JobsAI Enterprise remain responsible for their own hiring decisions and for complying with employment and anti discrimination law in their jurisdiction.
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
With employers, at your direction. When you apply to a role through JobsAI, your application materials are submitted to that employer and handled under their own privacy practices.
With service providers. Hosting, storage, payment processing, analytics, communications and AI model providers that process data on our instructions.
Within a customer account. For JobsAI Enterprise, data entered by one user is visible to authorised users of that customer account.
For legal reasons. Where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
In a business transfer. If JobsAI is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal and tax obligations and enforce our agreements. You can delete individual documents, applications and interview recordings at any time from your account. When you close your account we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly in your account settings, or by contacting us. You can also disconnect any linked third party service at any time, and opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards recognised under applicable law.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
11. Children
JobsAI is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the products change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and where changes are significant we will notify you in the product or by email.
